I am so excited for these developments in Moreton Bay as they will lead to millions of investment for the local economy. Moreton Bay has one of the lowest tertiary education rates in the state so with the addition of the Moreton Bay Rail that was completed in 2016 and the completion of USC University at the old Petrie Mill – it means that students, both high school and mature age will have more educational possibilities than ever before.
Laguna North Lakes will commence building in late 2018 and will be completed it is anticipated in early 2020. Laguna will feature a boutique shopping and dining precinct, a gorgeous lagoon pool and office space for thousands of employees. It will mean that North Lakes will have its own CBD to provide jobs for the many locals who commute into the city and Sunshine Coast – or simply just provide more opportunities for Brisbane CBD businesses to expand, or interstate companies have a North Brisbane location.
I am so excited for new educational and business opportunities for the region – I am just hoping that property prices won’t increase too much in the interim as we haven’t been able to buy yet!
